Vice President, Environment Health & Safety
Roelie Cronje serves as Vice President of Environmental Health and Safety for Altice USA. In this role, he is responsible for providing governance and strategic planning to ensure the wellbeing of employees. Mr. Cronje‘s experience in environmental health and safety spans 30 years in various organizations across three continents.
Prior to his current position, Mr. Cronje was the Vice President of Environmental Health and Safety for Cablevision since 2014. In this role, he was responsible for building a behavioral-based safety culture, which included efforts to implement systems, programs and measures that involved and engaged employees in the process of creating a safer workplace.
Mr. Cronje holds a Master of Science Degree in Occupational Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine at the University of London; Bachelor of Science Degrees with honors in Chemistry and Physiology from the University of Potchefstroom in South Africa; and a Management Diploma from the Graduate School of Business Leadership at the University of South Africa. In addition, as part of his professional development, Mr. Cronje also has received numerous professional diplomas in occupational hygiene.
