i24NEWS Celebrates Two-Year Anniversary in the United States With Strong Viewership and Distribution Growth
It’s been two years since Altice USA’s i24NEWS began broadcasting in the United States, bringing American audiences an independent, unbiased source of international and domestic news at a time when it’s never been needed more. Over the last two years, the network and its talented news staff have brought an intelligent, fresh perspective to the word’s current events coverage, including interviews with high-profile guests and in-depth coverage of major breaking news events, which have helped i24NEWS grow its U.S. audience base since launch.
In just two years, i24NEWS has increased its distribution through agreements with some of the largest MVPDs, highlighting the desire for high-quality independent reporting in the U.S. The network has also experienced a 300 percent increase in viewership across Altice USA households since its debut, as more viewers tune in to i24NEWS’ 24-hour news coverage. In addition, I24NEWS has expanded its stateside presence, with studios in New York City as well as bureaus in Washington D.C. and Los Angeles, while also continuing to showcase stories from its global broadcast centers in Tel Aviv and Paris.
