Optimum and News 12 Donate $500,000 to Support American Red Cross Wildfire Relief Efforts in California

Optimum, the provider of advanced internet, mobile, TV, and phone services, and News 12, the preeminent hyperlocal news source across the Tri-state area, are proud to announce a donation of $500,000 in airtime for Public Service Announcements (PSAs) supporting the American Red Cross relief and recovery efforts to help people affected by the 2025 California wildfires. 

The wildfires have caused widespread destruction, displacing thousands of residents and threatening countless homes and businesses. In these challenging times, the Red Cross has been at the forefront, offering shelter, food, and emotional support to those in need. Optimum's donation will help amplify the American Red Cross message, ensuring that vital information on how to support their efforts reaches as many people as possible. 

While Optimum does not directly serve the impacted areas, it operates in other parts of the state and is committed to raising awareness of relief efforts to rebuild the lives of those affected by these devastating wildfires.
